Dr. Herbert Y. MeltzerDr. Herbert Y. Meltzer

Bixler Professor of Psychiatry and Pharmacology and Director of the Division of Psychopharmacology. Dr. Meltzer received his B.A. from Cornell University in 1958, an M.A. in Chemistry from Harvard University in 1959, and his M.D. from Yale University School of Medicine in 1963. Dr. Meltzer received his psychiatric training at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center. Dr. Meltzer has been professor of psychiatry at the University of Chicago and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Jules Angst is Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Zurich and Honorary Doctor of the University of Heidelberg. From 1996 to 1998 he was President of the Association of European Psychiatrists. Prof Angst graduated in medicine in Zurich in 1952 and from 1969 to 1994 was Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Zurich University and Director of the Research Department at the Psychiatric Hospital of the University (Burgholzli).
